Temptation

Clear my mind
Please oh Lord
Show me peace
Open that door

My head runs
I cannot think
Driving me crazy
On the brink

He slips in
That little devil
Showing me temptation
"Become a rebel"

Surrender to you
Giving it away
Can't stand alone
"Help", I pray

I strive daily
With these fears
I might fail
Bringing about tears

Then I remember
He who lives
I stop worrying
Because Jesus forgives
